Projects may be divided up by area, which can then have specifications assigned to them. You can also use areas as room types, such as creating areas named "Queen Bedroom Suite" and "King Bedroom Suite".
Areas can also be used to filter which specifications are included on reports, and you can group specifications by area on reports.
  • Name - such as "Restaurant" or "Queen Bedroom Suite"
  • Code - unique identifier for the area, such as GST-KB (for "Guest King Bedroom")
  • Type - categorize areas by type. Areas can be grouped by type on reports to help organize complex projects.
You can specify quantities by floor (you must create the floors first), and then print a Room Matrix report to show area quantities per floor.
